Hi All,
Payment of Gratuity calaulation is done on the basis of last drawn Salary (on 5 years continous service). If an employee has a leave deduction in the last month then it will effect his basic.I would like to know if the last month salary will be taken after effects of leave deduction on basic or the previous month salary drawn(that has no effect of leave deduction).
Could you please help?

by the employee.

It should be calculated on the last drawn Basic and DA. That is the last Basic + DA as per his increment letter. Forget about the deduction in Basic+DA that happened due to leave taken.
