We have been working in this trade since last 11 years,but our projects are something different & typical.
We are contributing our experience in supply chain improvements in terms of social & ethical,firstly we identify the supplier ,those who supplying products to overseas customer and that suppliers are sourcing raw/unfinished goods from contractors/subcontractors/sub-subcontractors/hom working units/home workers,after identification of supply chian we forced to develop strong relationship between supply chain with each other and try to find out the best practices in terms of fair wages,health & safety,environment,imrovement of quality,child education,wareness on no child labour etc........

For the CSR purpose, the company can adopt the village near by area and give education, health and sanitory facilities to those people there.

I am working with an Indian Retail organization. Would request as many of you to share your experience / knowledge on Benevolunt Fund.
Please share the an insight into the following:
1. Legalities involved in srating-up the fund. For example, the fund may have to be registered, auditted etc.
2. Is the collected amount required to be maintained in liquid cash through the year? How and who should manage the cash.
3.What should be the criteria for using the collected amount to give financial help to any employee. Example, some amount may be given to the family if an employee dies, or meets with an accident and is rendered permanently disabled etc.
