Does hr begin and end with recruitment?
I am fresher. i am looking for a job. recruitment is something which i would not put under my area of interest. i am keen to pursue my career in the core areas of hr like enhancement of people potential competency profiling & performance improvement performance evaluation performance management systems identification of training needs & organising the same and compensation & benefits management. having kept my areas in mind i ve applied to some companies but i ve not been able to get through because these kind of posts are usually given to senior and experienced people. i have been receiving numerous offers for recruitment which i am not interested in. i am sure there are many other freshers like me who are facing the same dilemma. i would like to know whether hr begins and ends with recruitment? how should a fresher who is not interested in recruitment find a stand in the industry???
How will i acquire core hr related knowledge?
Dear friends i have done my mba correspondence in hr .as i have done a parttime i did not get any exposure to core hr activities & apart from that i have work experience of recruitment .now i am trying to move from recruitment to other areas i.e core hr activities but i have only less things known in core hr activities & i dont want to join in hr practical trainings as i think it is a waste of time as well as money please suggest me what should i do to get a full knowledge & exposure to core hr activities

Dear all i have few queries in core hr and administration. 1. what can be considered in core hr. as per knowledge i think payroll employee attendance & absenteeism will come into core hr can you please suggest what topics will be covered in this core hr 2. is administration a part of core hr and it should be considered as a different module. 3. will recruitment will be consider into any of these above topics. can you please provide me some information regarding these.
How to move in to core hr!!
Hello every one i am currently working as jr. hr in a growing s/w dvp. co. i was the 12th member to join the company after 6months ie. now the size of the team is around 40. though my designation is jr.hr i am more in to recruitments. my interest lies in core hr and was already communicated to the mgt. about my interest. but all my efforts went in to vain. now i have decided to change my company aswellas my role in hr. i have no experience in any core hr activities. how can i move to core hr role such as in to compensation and benefits appraisals t&d pay roll? can any one kindly suggest me in this regard? i completed one year in the company. thanks for your time and co operation. regards visu. :
What are the core hr activities being performed in a company
Hi this is working as an hr executive in an us based company. earlier i was told that i ll be performing core hr activities in this us based compnay. i want to excell my self as much as possible. cause i believe in learning and shaping up my career. recruitment is a part of hr. i understand with out man power none of the organisation can perform to words achieving their main goal. however i m interested in all hr activities cause having a vigil over all of them in a systematic manner could give me good exposure to what ever i have learned. recruitment is a cyclic process & it never changes i m preety sure u all agree with this. as a fresher what kind of opportuniites do i look for in order to excel myself in various core hr activities. i m very much interested in core hr could u please guide me towards the right path. thanks & regards
Is it really tough to get a job in core hr profile for fresher?
Hello as we have been appearing for interviewscore hr profile from last few months and we have certain queries to solve so please help us out. 1. is it really hard to get a job into core hr profile for fresher or having 1 or 2 years of experience in similar field? 2. one of my friends she is an mba in hr fresher but due to certain reason she couldn t start her career after completing her master and now after one and half year she wants to start her career in hr but again she is facing the same problem that i am facing now. please guide us and will appreciate it. thanks a lot.
