the answers is "Nope"......But as a employee friendly company, one should promote to include "group medical coverage" for all the employees for their and their family wellbeing.
here is the link http://esic.nic.in

Dear Ukmitra, Thanks for the prompt response. In the same organization, if 7 employees salary is less than Rs. 10000/-, then should it be covered or not ? Sinju George

Yes, Sinju, you will have too.
Do take your time to read the policy every line; is what I did when I started with HR. Its very boring, but it will be very helpful in long run.
I had infact made a FAQ based on my queries. Unfortunately, I did not take it when I resigned from the firm.

Hi All If your staff salary is more than 10,000/- than no need to cover under esi. but i think you have to go with WC policy. BR, Mahesh

Re: Applicability of ESIC Act if all employees salary is more than Rs. 10000/
If the Salary is 10000/-, ESI applicable , But Salary is 10001, There is not applicable ESI act. They will exempt for ESI facility.

HI All,
I am purusing MBA.3 months already occupied in same... earlier i worked as a recruiter.. I am looking forward for some internship / training in a organisation where i get to learn and implement HR - terms, policies and many more..... and not just a recruiter....
We all know HR is a wide spectrum and doesnt ends on Recruitment.... But whenever i try to hunt something better in HR, I always end up landing in same recruitment.. I am fed up with this low salary and moreever same old profile... If this continues, no matter even if we are MBA or more,, you stil will be termed recruiter... fone calls, fone calls and more fone calls..... seems like working in a call center.. he he....
Can anyone help me how to get into the full fledged HR, so as to see myself somewhere down the lane as HR- executive....
I even heard that certain companies requires Trainess, wherein candidate like me can get into...
Can anyone please help me out to get out of this mess....
