Why do we give confirmation letter to employees?
Hi i am from a service industry of 90 member team. lots of employee have not been given confirmation letter here i have been chasing ceo for which he is been asking why do we require this letter? ans below: 1. a confirmed employee is eligible for special benefits of leave\'s 2. a confirmed employee has to serve 30 days of notice period. 3. for any salary incremnt or desg hike. 4. ceo feels like everything is given to employees from the day 1 i would like to know will confirmation letter is required on these aspects or do we have someother parameters to give confirmation letter. regards jaffar

Hi i am working as an hrand i am a fresher..there are few employees in my organization who has joined before me but have not received any confirmation letter. can i issue them the letter? if yes then shall i mention the actual date as their date of confirmation or the date when the letter will be issued? plz suggest
Notice period salary - employee has resigned from the company after 6 months
Dear sir i want to clarify that as per the appointment letter employees are eligible for confirmation after getting the confirmation letter. it has been noticed that most of our employees are taking it the wrong way and they resign after six months and consider that they are not eligible for three months notice period as they have not received any confirmation letter. you are requested to provide your inputs. we have undersigned queries regarding this. case no1 one employee has resigned from the company after 6 months. now we are already in line to evaluate the performance of employees. evaluation letter already circulated to department hod. and we are in process of his confirmation but still we have not provided him a confirmation letter and any intimation to the employee also. what will be his notice period applicable in this case? one month or three months thanks most sincerly sanjeev bansal

Hi all case: when a new employee joins we issue him a letter of appointment and upon 6 months or as decided by the particular firm of successful completion of probation period we issue a confirmation letter. query: i want to understand whether we need to change the contents of the letter of confirmation or it should remain the same as stated in the appointment letter. can we revise the matter based on the employees performance in the last 6 months? regards pshankar

Dear seniors i am working in an retail sector as an associate manager hr. its a 2 years old company. we are having manpower strenght of 250 employees. employees are segreted in 2 ways. 1. ho staff 2. store satff problem is that we have not given confirmation letter to any employees who have completed their probabation period.acc. to appoitment letter ho staff having a notice period of 1 month & store staff having a notice period of 15 day but employees are giving resignation by giving 1 day notice period. when asked to serve a notice period they reply as where is the confirmation letter. we are not confirmed employees. please suggest me is it compulsory to give confirmation letter to the employees or thet automatically get confirmed after 1 year.their are employees in our company who are working from last 2 years without confirmation letter. what to do?? need help:: regards smita uppal
