Dear respectees all of you aware that the payment of bonus amendment bill was introduced vide bill no 15 of 2010 ref: gazette of india; 532010 pt ext.p.59no.3. this amendment was not yet notified by the government. the bill aims to enhance the ceiling amount of bonus and minimum of bonus. my question is still the bill is alive or it has lapsed in the house of parliament. it is an important bill which would have an affect from the accounting year 2009. any body knows the current status of the bill and its legal validity. please post a reply with necessary enclosures.

Respected seniors if a company/ establishment has more then 20 employees is it compulsary to cover it under esi if the number of employees drawing salary less then rs.10000/ is only one? also is it necessary to get workmens compensation policy under the workmens compensation act as per law if an accident policy has been taken. would appreciate if this is explained with any judgement. thanks and regards dwipna
