this is regarding your project on best HR practices. There are two approaches to such studies - a case study method and an emperical method. in case study method, you could develop narrative reports on individual IT companies selected and present them as cases. in emperical sense, develop an instrument or scale that could assess standard HR practices. pre-test the instrument on small sample. aftgerwards, launch it on large samples. thats it. that choice is yours. all the best

Hi Arpita,
I dont remember the exact date but the Business Today(mag edition Jul/Aug06) carried a survey done of the Best HR practices in IT industry. I had done most of my data collation thanks to it. In the mean time..I too will try and see if I get it.
