ESIC is yet to revise the current ceiling of rs 10000pm. The news of increasing it to 15000 pm is false as on date.

No,the information is wrong. There is no change in the wage limit. The existing wage-limit for coverage under the Act, is Rs.10,000/- per month (with effect from 1.10.2006).

Till date no official information regarding the change in ESIC ceiling.
But through our ESIC consultant, we received the information that there is an idea of changing ESIC ceiling from 10k to 15k.

it's an announcement from one concerned minister for vote! (it's very difficult to implement without proper infrastructure)
let's wait for proper noticification,
as on now ESIC people are busy with Project Panchdeep.
go on website for more details.

No. the ceiling rate is not yet revised. So no worry about it, until we get the official order.
