PF Query

Dear All,

Please give me clarification regarding Whether PF is payable after deducting LOP or not? Becz the law says to charge PF on the amount paid to the employees , ie, Basic + DA+ any allowance - LOP *12% please clarify in this regard

Dear Razik,

Pf need to calculate on wages less loss of pay. That means, if he lost one day and he earns Rs.2900/- instead of Rs.3000/-, PF need to deduct only on Rs.2900/-.
