For Grievances - You have to develop a grievance cell in your company where employee can raise their issues & concerns related to thier problems with everyone in the company or either they were facing any issues with other colleagues. As an grievance officer its ur duty to provide them a amicable resolution.
For Statutory Compliance - Just find out what are the Laws applicable on your company ??
- Is PF applicable on your company ?? If yes then, PF deduction & Depositing timely or properly ??
- If ESI Cards given to Employees who are eligible for ESI
- Safety & welfare Provisions
Above mentioned point are some of basic point which has to be followed.
