Hello Friends,
Many times I have heard from consultants who complain that for getting recruiting assignments from big big MNCs or even some small companies they need to bribe or give commission to the HR Manager, then only they are included in the clients list ofthe company. Commission might include gifts, money, charges as per contract, dinner etc.
This question is directed towards all HR Managers , Executives who have either come accross such thing in their career at any point of time. Many HR Managers might use this opportunity to earn quick bucks, and many HR Managers who are honest and straight forward might find it bad or wrong.
So expecting a healthy discussion on this issue, if you dont know anything about this issue in reality then you too keep watch on this thread so that we can find out what really happens in the corporate world.

I am surprised that there are no respones for such an interesting topic.
Yes I have heard of this issue from many. There are managers who are hand in glove with the consultants for their company recruitment. They have certain % given to them per recruitment. I have also heard that technical panel also is given certain %. This amount is acutally taken from the candidate by the consultant. This is a very bad practise which is happening in the industry. The consultants who are involed are not small firms they are huge and famous. Any ways there would be no change even if we discuss on this.

| | | | hi,
This is an interesting topic, i have only heard that such things happen but never came across any situations.. i guess the percentage is very low. I have only seen very propmpt and honest HR managers till now; in fact HR Managers are meant to maintain that honesty and dignity in an organisation.
A few people out there who are habituated in taking comission/gifts have litrally spoilt the image of the HRs.

He earned a lot from this mode. i quote one example. consultant sending candidates to the hr manager, once candidate get selected consultant will pay half month salary and consultang get full month salary from candidate. this trend is going on in many companies especiallly in manufacturing, infrastructure industry. One thing company dont get any loss in this type of activity. I dont know whether its right or wrong. But to be practically thinking this is right everyone wants to earn more but at the same time company pay for hr manager is very low thats why they doing like this.
Ok let see others exp in this regard.

I want honest answer not only you others also answer me because i met this situation to be frank i got that compliment amount from my consultant. No other choice to ignore that compliment. |
