| Terms & Condition related to Resignation Dear Members, I want your necessary guidance in one of my query. As per our present company norms the terms of leaving the company is that "your services can be terminated by giving a written three calendar month’s notice or three month’s basic pay in lieu thereof at the sole discretion of the Management". I got good opportunity in another company but I can serve only 1 month notice and will ask to settle the rest of the period i.e. 2 months with my salary because I want proper relieving letter. Do the management has right to hold my application of resignation? Or do the managament has right to ask me forcefully to complete the three months notice period ?
