Dear Narender,

At the outset I would like to tell you that PF managed by Trusts are also covered by PF Act. The companies who are managing their PF thro Trusts are called exempted establishments because these Companies have obtained approval from the Office of the Regional PF commissioner for maintaining inhouse trust and RPFC has alloted code to them like unexempted categories but exempted them from depositing the PF contributions to RPFC office. Their rules are approved by RPFC and Income Tax.

If you want to transfer the Pf balances from Trust managed fund to unexempted fund submit Form 13 thro the present employer to the Trustees of the exempted category and they will process the claim and issue Annexure K and a cheque in favour of the Regional PF commissioner and will send directly to the office of the RPFC office where your account is maintained by the present employer under intimation to your Company.
