Hi Friends

I have 4 years 7 months experience, initially as consultant in a Law Firm and later on as HR Executive in Liaisoning Firm. As a Consultant I gained experience in framing & implementing HR polices, issuance of various call letters, employees database, recruitment, disciplinary proceedings, performance appraisal etc. Further as a HR Executive, again I dealt with recruitment, disciplinary proceedings, training, maintenance & vetting of contracts, statutory compliances like ESI, PF, Gratuity etc.
Now I would like to shift to MNC , preferably Bangalore.
Friends If u find any opening matching to my above proficiencies, kindly mail me on

Just use your common sense and read bestsellers, nothing else is required to be an HR specialist.

Hi,

It is good to know interest in this field. According to your message you have already done Dip in HR. I think you just need to brush up whatever you have studied and while practicing one should always try to think as if you are in place of the next person and remember what you have learnt and take the action accordingly. Also you should start working with a senior HR person then many a things can be learnt on the job.

This definitely works well. Side by you can keep reading the management books that are available in the market, and whatever query you have may it be stupid for anybody else you should ask it. We will try to answer you.

Mr Mohanad

I would suggest you to join Post Graduation form any recognized university either through distance, if possible regular in Human Resource Management.
However language skills are also important at the same point of time.

Dear Mr.Mohanad,

How do I become a specialist in human resources?

Your question is really head hunting question, but there is no spoon through which we can feed someone. Our friends gave your many good ideas to improve your competence, HR is a great sea but you need to learn swimming, it is also very interesting to know that you can learn swimming once you will jump on it.

If you have any further query we can help you please mail me on ajaymehta@xproindia.com,

Ajay Mehta
