Termination Clause
Hi All,

Could you please let me know the (general practice) when an employee is terminated should we issue Experiance letter???

Your input would be of great help

Dear Vara,

1) If the termination is on disciplinary grounds then a plain relieving / termination letter is all that is required to be given.

2) If the termination is for other reasons (related to preformance, expiry of fixed term employment, expiry of specific contract) then it is required to give an experience letter.
