Regarding Contract Labour

My question is in our establishment there are 2 guard , whom we have hired from a security agency, so what are the duties as far principal employer concern ?

Just u need to ensure that the agency from where u have hired are following the statutory compliances such as PF & ESI. Also ensure that they are getting wages according to your state minimum wages act with the agency. Ask the agency to provide you with a copy of PF & ESIC challans when the agency submits the monthly bill just to ensure the compliances are being followed. If the same are not followed principal employer is liable and then you have to ensure the same.
