Dear All,

Kindly tell me after how many time we can reissue a new pf no. to same employee after resignation?????

I am facing a problem bcoz of some reasons our some employees resigned and submit their withdrawal form in PF office on same day & rejoin our office next day. Can i issue new PF no. on next day??

Dear Manju

As per PF rules no one can withdrwa his/ her PF before 60 days of resigned.

So you don't need to provide them new PF nos. These employees will get their PF form back with objection from PF office.

I agree with Mr.shivraj, but my suggestion is you can issue the same number to the employee by mentioning the period of not in service as break in service if you are not issuing the form to him.

You can give new numbers to employees if its needed. The PF amount can be withdrawn after a period of 60 days if he remains idle without any employment. If he joins the new concern the PF amount can be transferred to his new company with the request from new company's HR
