Indian Limited Company opening a set up Abroad

Can any body tell me what are the formalities to be completed in India if an Indian Limited Company wants to set up an office or business abroad.
Would request reply by those members only who are sure about the formalities required.

I'm surprised that there is not a single member in CiteHR who is aware of rules/ formalities for setting up a company abroad. It reveals that persons who are handling Company law/ corporate law or RBI guidelines are largely outside CiteHR periphery.
