CTC calculations

Mr Sandeep :

If you are employed in Karnataka, the P Tax deducted @ Rs 200 is incorrect.

Pls find below the slab for P Tax for K'natka :

< Rs 9999 earned salary : Rs nil
Rs 10,000 to Rs 14,999 : Rs 150
> Rs 15,000 : Rs 200

In ur case, though the CTC is also < Rs 14,999 you should be deducted with only Rs 150 and not with Rs 200 as indicated.

Further, as already indicated by others, the total net payable to you shd be Rs 12,652 after deduction of Rs 200 + 648 and not Rs 11,969 as indicated.

Hope the above is clear.

Good Luck

Your monthly gross is 12,817/- from where you will be paying Rs.648/- (employee's contribution) towards PF & Rs.200/- twds PT, hence the net salary of Rs.11,969/- is correct.

Dear Sandeep,

u are making foolies to us while onec u add employer share of pf in ctc and then showing only your contribution in deducation part which is worng, if u are adding EPF employer share in your CTC then in dedcation of employer and employee share from ur CTC then u find that CTC is correct.

For exemple of ur CTC :

ur ctc is 13,500 ( -) employer share of EPF is 648 then ( - ) your EPF share is 648 then (-) professtion tex is 200 then ( -) insurance 35 = 11,969. I think u under stand this,
