Not Possible Routinely but possible Only as a Exception.
Once salary or for that matter any amount is credited to a bank Account, it can not be reversed or withdrawn by bank. If at all any mistake has occurred and employer is able to convince the bank suitably, then only after getting indemnity and all, Bank may reverse the entry.

This is done as an exception and not as a routine practice and bank may accept such request from employer to maintain good relations.

Account holder can object to such reversals and bank may have tough time in replying to account holder.

Thanks & Regards

Dear,
Gokul is very correct, if that person withdrawn the money from the account, we can't able to reverse the money. If sufficient amount in that account, we can do reversal. If you are freezing the account after withdrawing the money, there is no use.

curlin_4,

i don't think so that the bank will allow the third party to with the amount of another person though the same has already credit. But the excess amount can be recovered from the salary of next month...what you say...ashok

Can a campany deposit in an employee account then withdra the same in a day or two? is a matter of serious concern to those dealing in pay and compensation. As per my opinion, once a salary deposited in an employee's account could not be withdrawn by the company unless and untill any authorisation in this regard is duly given by the concerned employee.

I have seen the reversal of transactions when a salary account gets credited with excess amount. However, in all such cases the provision for reversals is included in the joining papers of the employee. So individuals may first want to go through the documents that they might have hurriedly signed while boarding on their organizations.

Dear Peer,
If the variable amount is credited or debited either by the company or the bank, they can access your account for correction at any point of time.

For Eg.
Your actual salary is 20000 but the credited amount is 22000 means they will debit the excess amount which was credited by manual or techinical mistake .

If the employee has taken made the account rupt means they will enter the amount in minus (-2000) in your account, at the point you receive the next month salary or any deposit the amount will be automatically debited from your account.

Dear Peer,
If the variable amount is credited or debited either by the company or the bank, they can access the account for correction at any point of time without giving notice to the employee.

For Eg.
Your actual salary is 20000 but the credited amount is 22000 means they will debit the excess amount which was credited by manual or techinical mistake.

If the employee has made the account rupt means they will enter the amount in minus (-2000) in your account, at the point you receive the next month salary or any deposit, the amount will be automatically debited from your account.

So it is the responsibility of the employee to check the salary account quite often to avoid these sort of problems.
