| Need to Know Salary Increase pattern for 2009-2010 Dear all,
as we know that during 2009 most of the companies did not give a hike in salaries due to economic slowdown/recession. Now the market is little better, new jobs are coming up and companies are coming out of losses they made in recent past. I request people from different companies to share with us the differrent patterns they are going to adopt for coming year OR if some have already started giving salary raises. I work for Italian MNC which is a S/W dev company, we follow annual appriasal cycle which is done in march/april each year. Please share following details with regards to indian Employees-
1. what kind of salary hikes your company is planning to do for 2010??
2. will there be any compensation for last year's hikes too??
3. Please let me know if you are aware of some other companies also.
4. also, please tell me if your company gave hikes in 2009 too despite of recession.
I need to present a report to my management so that we can follow industrial norms and can decide on employee's salaries accordingly.
