| A real case study on Implementing HR in a traditional complex company Dear all my friends and professionals,
I would like to share a complex situation that I have been facing. I expect suggestions from you all to solve this case.
I am working as a Sr. executive, HR in a manufacturing company of around 4 decades old which has around 200 staffs including three factories. I am working in the Head Office under the HR & Admin department where I am the only person who is dedicated for HR works. From the age of the company u can understand that its a very traditional company and three generation's people is working here together where i belongs to the 3rd generation group. I am assigend with the responsibility to develope and implement the HR practices in the company where my reporting boss is one of the Executive Directors (Head of HR) who also belongs to the 3rd generation group. The problems that i am facing is that whenever i want to implement any HR practice in the organization the HOD don't co-operate properly, they show their reluctantness indirectly, they procastinate the tasks. So, its getting very hard for me to work and also loosing motivation to implement new things. So, to my reporting boss my performance is becoming a question. I am such a situation where i cant direct or force the HOD as i am in a juniro and less experiences employee compare to them and also can not complain the non-copearaion approach of the HOD to my reporting boss (ED). Therefore, i am in such a dilemma where I am not feeling myself important and not geting any recognition.
I am not thinking about quiting as it would be the most easiest way to avoid complex situation. Rather i want to take the challenge to change the things and prove my stand and contribution. I guess, in this forum there must be some people who faced such situation like me. So i request to all of my friends here please help me to win this challenge. How i can work here managing evrything and prove my calliber through winning this challenge?
Please suggest me however way its possible. I would be greateful to you.
