Looking for Job in Recruitment

Hi Friends,

I am looking out for HR job into recruitment. Have experience of 1 yr. However there is a break in career due to some personal commitments. At present my age is 31.
Is this a matter of concern when u apply for a HR Job ?
How do i again start with my career.. pls guide
