Both employer and employee contributions to pf are the components of CTC only. You can deduct 24% of basic+da+Cash value of food concession+retaining allowance if any from the employee ctc.
as per my knowledge basic and da should be 50% of the monthly salary and hra is 40% of the basic and da (conveyance could be 800 and medical allowance 1250 more than that is taxable)and the remaining you can split into special allowances. i am not very sure if there is any wrong seniors do correct me
if it is CTC break up varies from company to company.
These days few companies are including VPP(Variable performance Pay) like Incentives are including in the CTC. If we are including the VPP then what about the Employer PF. Do wee need to show it to the employees in the CTC.
