Dear all,

I am neema hari from Trivandrum

I got an offer from Sheraton Skyline Hotel London.

I was searching an HR job abroad. And i got a mail from Sheraton Skyline Hotel London.

In that mail they offered many more vacancies and specified that if we are looking for a post kike,HR or HR related send the standard resume to them.

Thus i forwarded my resume to them.

And they replied with application form and a questionnaire which i need to fill and need to send back.(i have attached the mail offer which i got)

please see the website address.when i go through the site address they have given,i found it is not a standard one.

so i am confused whether it is a good one or a fraud offer.

Please help me.

Awaiting your valuable advise.

hi neema,
i got this same offer from another of the hotels - hotel marriott. checked with my brother-in-law (bil)there. the guys who send the message are Nigerians/Kenyans (who have no direct contact with the hotel). based on my interaction with my bil, I can say that this is a fraud. they will ask you to transfer money to them and ask your bank details as well. then before you realise anything, your account is wiped clean and dry. (the usual finance hoax)
suggest strongly that you don't get caught in this mess. rather look at HSMP or other alternatives. also now is not the ideal time to look at UK as option as the costs for job seekers processing has gone up drastically (tax for entry has gone up as well and there's an annual charge). try to deal directly with the company

Hi Neema,

Its really a big fraud.I am also among those who revert to this mail.Pls dont move ahead with anything foe this.

I have spent a whole week to check its legitimacy,

I even received signed & sealed appoinment letter from Premier Hotel London asking me to join within 1 month.I have intimated this thing to British High Commission nd they say its a hardcore international fraudester behind this scam.I even got several calls of the fellow demanding me to submitt my docs & 25000 money as visa charges.

There are several visibible discripencies which makes these offers Fraud.

Basic Spelling & Gramatical Mistakes in Appoinment Letters

Such companys will never ever gives their LANDLINE telephone numbers which one can verify.

Generally Recruitment & selection Process is very rigorous & with intensive interviews.such companys offers relativelly huge amount of salary with not even a single interview !

They offer free Medical Services & others perks which are already free on British soil to anyone !

In the address of their premises they are not giving proper PINCODE.In Britian these PINs r so effective & accurate that a post can be delivered by PIN only even without address.

British highcommission has already issued the warning for this fake offers.Pls follow the link

Jobs and lottery frauds! Beware <link updated to site home> ( Search On Cite | Search On Google )

The biiggest threat is that they ask you to send a very detailed information filled in their form & alongwith it wants scanned copies of your certificates. They grossly misuses your very personal & sensitive information & supposed to prepare fake certificates from your original one.

This is in interest of all of you.

Neema pls dont proceed any furthure,

Ask me if you have any querry,

Thank You Jayesh. That was a really good piece of information on the website. I guess there has not been much awareness created even though it has been declared as fraud by the British high Comission themselves. These frauds in fact have made there database strong and have been covering wide range of people.
Every morning when I open my mail box, there are atleast 2 - 3 hoax mails lying in my mailbox one which says 'You've won a lottery' and two ' Job Offer in UK'.
I have recieved queries from a number of people in my workplace if the offer they have recieved is authenticated or not.
These frauds are not only sending across mailers but also sending sms.
Wonder whats their database source?????
How can it be stopped???

Dear Ms Neema,
You have sent me the same mail as Private Message. I am sure u would have sent the message to other members too.
I have given clear reply in this regard stating that the Offer is Hoax, for which you have also accepted & told that the issue is solved.
At the same time, i am surprised by the fact, u have posted the same in the forum.
When You have got the answer, why still Post in the Forum & extract the valuable time of other members.
Moreover as a learned person & being into HR Profession, I am sure you will be to ABLE to judge genuineness of the Offer given.
If u r not able to judge the same, Pls think on ………………..
So, Let us get into some Quality Discussions PLEASE,,,,,,
