change of name
I changed my name in my Indian passport and im holding my old and new passport. My UAE visa is in my old passport. Is it necessary to change my name in my stamped visa and labour card? if so how much it costs?. Please let me knowas soon as possible b'coz Iam a frequent traveller to all the middle east countries.

It is advisable to get the name changed in the UAE VISA as well. As regards to the cost factor, it varies from Emirates to Emirates. It will be for your benefit to go directly to the Dubai immigration (if your visa is from there) and get it corrected and re-stamped - again there will be several embassy documentations/proof's, records attested required for the same, depending on the situation and officer in charge. If your visa is from other emirates, all these regulations may vary entirely to a different way. All the best, but for safety reason, have it same in both visa as well as passport name page.
