Voluntary Registration of PF -Maharashtra

Company A has around 2000 employees, who are covered under PF. Now some employees from this co A are transferred to a newly formed co B, the strength of which is 10. Being part of the same group same benefits of PF needs to be extended to these employees as well. We are however told that back dated remittance in case of voluntary PF is not permissible. Also voulntary registration is a time consuming process.

Please suggest on what could be done
