There is no question of being from defence or not. Being male or female.
To succeed as corporate trainer, one needs to know the basics of business very well. For this, it is better to have career in marketing, HR, Ops and so on.
The second important thing is one should have commercial sense very well. I have seen giving emphasis more on training tools rather than end result of the training.
