Dear All, One of our female employees got married i.e. resulting change in her surname. She doesn't have her marriage certificate as of now as well as any identity proof.
She has applied for Pan Card. they are asking for a company statement on its letterhead saying that person is residing at <specified address> since <specified period>.
My question is should we issue such a letter to her or not. if yes, are there any legal consequences we may face regarding the same?
if yes, is there any specific format we should follow to avoid such a situation?
Pls help me out.
