I am a PhD in OD. Try out some emerging areas such as hris, hr audit, hr score card or change management. or something related to new concepts in hr such as managing off site employees etc.

I am also a person planning to do PhD in HR/management related area. I have industry experience of five years and currently working as a lecturer for MCA. You can go for phd in hr from aima, imsr, xlri, iim, isb, annamalai, other state universities.
Its a good option but it is 4-5 years course.
You have to prepare thesis & but before applying you have to provide your research synopsis of 5 pages.
You can also apply abroad for phd as it is beneficial.
