Need teachers training ppts for Villages Govt Schools

Association for Service to Humanity is conducting teachers training on creative teaching technique & train the trainer programme in the schools of villages in Karnataka. The students & teachers lack communication skills, they have fear of expressing themselves & get angry on persistant enquiries.
Please help.

Hi,

Would love to help you but if you could be little more descriptive on what all you want the PPt to have, I'm sure i'll be able to help you.

As you said that they lack in communication skills, but what exactly do you mean by communication skills because lacking in communication skills might mean that they have language skills problem, or public speaking fear etc.

I would suggest you to go topic wise & then draft a customized ppt for yours because whatever ppt you would get from others may not have the exact matter.

I have lot of stuff for the same, but you'll have to guide me on what all specifically you want.

Thanks for the guidance. We need ppts for the students of sslc who lack the confidence to ask questions, even to their teachers. They are shy of speaking in their mother tongue too. The basics of communication skill, getting out of fear to talk & basic memory skill.

i think a ppt wont help much....what they really need is a face to face discussion..

they r already very shy ....with ppt they wld not learn much..

u need to rope in profesional speakers to help the student....i am sure there wld be people interested to do it for free also..

where exactly in karnataka...and can u tell more abt this organization...

Thanx for the experienced advice. we visit a different village every week. we found that more than talking, speaking,listening & hearing which the children are used to, they remember photographs & funny educative movie clippings better. No slide of our ppts is without one or 2 photographs, & no presentation is withour movie clippings.

This is what I understand from ur mail..

1) that u all go to villages to teach the kids with the purpose to make learning more interesting for the kids...

2) Also you all want the gap between teachers & the kids to reduce. In a way training the teachers to make teaching interesting.

Can u pls give me some info abt this Orgn "Association for Service to Humanity " & do they have any such orgn in mumbai?

I wil try to search for any interesting file..if i get some i will mail it to u..
