Dear Seniors,

I would like to ask for your suggetion regarding a mal practice by my company[pvt. ltd]. They are in a habit of with helding the salary of employees if they feel the performance is not up to the level. They don't issue a warning letter to the employee concerned but directly stops his salary. When asked they gice a vague reason of non performance which has no logic behind. Being an Hr I feel very disgusted about this and want to do something for the employee. This is a cute mention torture which the employees are going through every month. Kindly help me if there is anything that can be done.

Dear Shah,
1) You directly can not do any thing in this un less you have the power to sign the cheques and make the bank advises

2) However the aggrieved employee may be advised to seek legal help by way of a lawyer notice quoting relevant provisions of the Payment of wages Act/ to raise dispute by referring it to jurisdictional labour office.
