No releaving letters of previous company
Hi... i am currently working in a good sw companyy and planing to look for job in another companyz. i am sure that once i get any offer letter i will serve the notice period and get the releiving letter and experience letters from y company. but my problem is different. before joining y company i was working in x company for 1 year. though i myself resigned from x company they did not provide the releiving letters stating that "my previous employment was fake". now my question is after i join z company... 1 will they ask releiving letters of all the companies that i have workedw x y companies or only the last companies releiving lettersy company 2 what will happen if i say i dont have the releiving letters of x company but provide releiving letters of all other companies that i have worked for. will the z company remove me from job or take some action against me? 3 is it advisible to remove that 1 year experience from my career? please advice as ur advice can help me in getting a secured future. thanks...

Termination without reason and got releiving letter and getting legal notice for not returned laptop
Hi i am working in a mnc in pune. one fine day company s director called me and told me that your project got over today and now i don t have much work for you.so you have to resign within 15 days or so. i refused to resign. next day company hr came to me and asked me to resign and threat me if i will not resign then she will terminate me next day. i refused to resign without any reason. after a week they came with reason of poor performance. i showed them lot of appreciation emails and asked where they saw my poor performance. after 3 days without replying my email they discontinued my office access and sent me termination mail and releasing letter at my personal email and requested for submitting my office belongings including company laptop. in reply i requested to start my office access and release my salary. but in next mail they again requested for returning the office belongings and again i requested to release the salary . now i came to know they promise to give salary but after getting the belongings they did not release the salary who were terminated forcefully earlier. as i am not satisfied with illegal and without giving any reason of termination and thinking to go labor court. 1 after termination mail they also sent me the releiving letter without submiting the laptop.now should i return the company laptop on their request or legal notice withour getting the clearance of my salary and full and final settlement or should wait for the decision from the labour court. 2 if i will not return laptop and meanwhile company takes any legal action then how should i defend myself. 3 after getting the releiving letter should employee liable to return company assests if any ?? 4 what is difference between termination letter and releiving letter? thank you sarika
Termination after resignation acceptance
Hello one of my friend in top it company india was resiged and left the organization after taking the resignation acceptance letter from hr. he got negative full & final settlementstaus is resigned in ffs for not serving the 2 months notice period because he served only one month. he paid the negative balance and asked for the releiving letters. the hr issued the termination letter and mentioned as "preivios employment background verification staus is red hence terminated". but it is not discussed when he is in the company only get to know when he asked for releiving letter. even ffs status is "resignation" and he got resignation acceptance letter. when he contanted hr they said it stored as termination in the system. i wanted to know whether hr polocies allow this discrepency and what to do is there any labour or hr policies act to get the releiving letter instead of termination letter. regards sridhar

Greetings team i was working with ibm for a itis helpdesk bangalore.i had to join may21 2008 due to family reason i had to take leave from ibm on sept 27 2010.after that i couldnt report to duty3 warning letters have been sent but due to critical family situation couldnt report back to office.i had to keep informing manager via phone regularly he played wrong mentor in my life where he said that the management has initiated the absconding process. now i have received my termination letter .a total of 2yrs 3 month experience have been lost.i have got through cognizant and offer letter has been issued as i told them that i will be getting my releiving letter. management said that it is not possible to convert termination letter to releiving letter . so what is the possibility for me to get offered in cognizant .as they had to offer me because of my experience. please let me know what the hr can do to take me into cognizant or it is not possible at all?
Terminated employee is asking for releiving letter
Hello there i had to terminate an ops manager in my organization as he was habitual latecomer. he has also taken 15 days leave in 4 months which is unacceptable for a person like him. most of the leaves were uninformed to the top management. after terminating himhe gave me a call and threatened that he will sue the company by issuing a lawyers notice. he did not do it however for some reason. we sent him a showcause and termination letter by post after his termination was done. recentlyhe called one of the managers and informed them that he wanted a releiving letter and that he is ready to give a resignation letter dated one month back if required. he also mentioned thata termination letter from our company will stand as an obstacle for him to get job in other firms. do you think its right for me issue him a releiving letter? is there any legal implications? please advice regards madhu
