We had become EPF member from 01-09-2006 and submitted the deducted PF amount(for Month of September) directly to PF office by Demand Draft alongwith the application form.
Now I had deposited the PF Amount (for Month of October) in State BAnk and I want to know what is the actual process now.
I means what are the forms which I will have to fill in.
Awaiting for earliest help.

1) Form 12A - Monthly PF Challans 2) Form 5 3) Form 10 kindly submit every month these forms along with deductions to the PF Office Abhijeet

Dear Mr.Nilesh,
The following process need to be complied with PF remittance.
1. Ensure remittance of PF contributions of employees and employer's on or before 15th of the following month for the month of salary disbursed.
2. Fill in Return copy of Form 12 and submit it to PF office along with challan copies (marked for PF office) together with the following :
i) Form 2 (delcaration forms in respect of newly joined employees)
ii) Form 5 and Form 10
3. Please ensure that you submit these forms to PF office under cover letter and have a acknwledged copy for your records.

Dear Friends,
Thanks for prompt reply, have some more queries.
1. While applying for PF no we had submitted the PF amount along with Form 12 A for the month of september 2006, Hence I would like to know whether I have to submit the form 12A, 5 and 10 for month of septmeber also or only for October.
2. Also is there any form no.9, which I have to submit.

Dear Mr.Nilesh,
The submission of PF returns under cover letter is common for every month.
Invariably, the form 12, From 5 & 10, Declaration form 2 will have to be submitted for every month. Even if no joinees, still it has to be endorsed as Nil under appropriate columns/forms.
Regarding From 9 : This is in a booklet form which you need to fill up by entering name of employees, date of birth, father's/mother's names, date of joining etc. under appropriate columns.
While PF coverage get extended, this form 9 has to be submitted by giving all details of all covered employees of your organisation.

this is how actual process is
1) you apply to epfo alongwith the draft
2) they give yoy the pf number
3) from next month onwards you have to pay the contributions alongwith challan in nearest SBI
4) now after all the processings , the EPFO department will issue you a group no / section no. you should normally enquire abt this at epfo dept. after two or three months.
5) once you get the group no. you have to submit form 9 containing details of employees to the epf dept.
6) also you have to submit the form 2 ie nomination forms of all employees.
7) also from then on you need to regularly submit 12-A along with a copy of challan, form 5, form 10 regularly to the dept on or before 25th of every month.
8) at end of finanacial year ie. in march you need to submit 3-A for all employees and also 6A which is nothing but annual return.
