| E.S.I.C. Deduction from salary WELCOME SIR,
I have a Querry regarding the ESIC act.
If any employees salary is 9500 which makes his eligible for ESIC. & After Certain month his salary will increse by 1000 then & his new salary will Rs.10,500. However, despite the increase in salary the payroll dept of the company continues the ESIC deduction from his salary. He realises this only after 2 months. On questioning the HR he is told that the ESIC amount will continue to be dedcuted too Mar 09.
Q1. Is it correct that his ESIC dedcutions continue till Mar '09?
Q2. If no, will he get the recovery for the wrong dedcution?
Q.3 what is actually legal procedure & law clause about it to continue for the same deduction ?
