Are Companies Hiring?????? Is the job market still down???

Hi Everyone,

Whats the status of the Indian job market??? Are companies hiring??? A week back was just browsing through different job portals, and was happy to see that there were so many job openings in various companies. Did apply but haven't got any responses still.Are companies hiring?????? Can veryone in the forum share if ur comany is hiring or not ???

We want to recruit the following personnel by end September 2009; 1. Production Manager (BPO) 1 position 2. Team Leader 2 position 3. Computer Operators 10 position. If you know anybody please suggest.(only male)

Dear Pragya
Between Nov 08 to April 09 most company stoped hiring new people. But May09 onwards company have started the recruitment process. But the whole process is very slow. Also many people have lost the job so many times it happens that company takes those candidates through some references. And at the sametime company / consultants advertises those opening on portals also.

Hiring at MNC are still on hold or in slow track. So pl keep sending the CV's, you will definitely get the opportunities.

i js want to know that are companies hiring? i m a final year student of B.Tech(computer science) and i still dont have any job offer in my hand from any MNC..i m very worried about my future and no company wants trainee(6 months training) also ....so i js want to ask any placement consultant that when the companies will come to hire at their full pace!!!!!
