According to the definition of wages as given under section 3(n) of the Maternity benefit Act,1961-'wages' means 'all remuneration paid or payable in cash to woman, if the terms of contract of employment are expressed or implied, were fulfilled - ----.' this means we are to give full wages to the woman under all the heads/ components as expressed or implied. For more details you can also go through section 3(n) & 5 of this Act.
