notice from one side
Dear All,

Is it legally valid that in an appointment letter only employees are asked to give notice of one month before resignation without mentioning anything about the employer's obligation.
If it is project based job then without informing its employees, can an employer dissolve its activities on end of project without paying one month notice period payment.

Notice period clause should be for both employee & employer. even project based also, serving notice period is mandatory. If the employee is on contract for fixed tenure, no need of notice period clause.
