Contract labour act - security on contract comes under contract labour act or not?
Dear sir/mam i am facing some issues related to contract labour. my first issue is security on contract comes under contract labour act or not and the second issue is a canteen jcb bus and staff of third party service also comes under contract labour regulation and abolition act pls help me to come out from this problem.

Dear all nder contract labour regulation&abolition act applies every establishment in which twenty or more work men are employed on any day of the proceeding tweleve months as contract labour. we have 9 establishment under one umbralla now my query is one contactor is supplying 5 contract labour to each establishmnent and total comes 45 contract labour. kindly let us know whether the aforesaid act is applicable to the above contractor regards rnswamy
Labour license ( contract labour act)
Dear seniors we are an electrical contracting company at present we are awarded contract in different zones eastwestnorthsouth each zone has 6 sites different states . we are employing not more than 19 labour subcontract at each site do we still need to take under act. if no then do we need to send form via notice of commencement of contract work to the labour commissioner. please guide as we are in complete dilemma on the above issue. thanking you in anticipation. ragvendra rao.

Is there any guidelines in the labour laws for the proportion of engagement of contract labour to the number of employees on the company role? please guide. the local dy labour commissioner is refusing to sign certificate of registration under contract labour r & a act on the grounds that company is having only 15 workmen on its muster roll and employing around 30 to 35 contract labour through the contractor. what are the legal issues involved? please guide.

Dear al as we all knows that if we employed 20 or more employee on contract then need to obtain the rc & license respectively under the contract labour act. so my question is if we employed executives or managers on contract basis then still contract labour act shall be applicable?
