Dear Indranil Banerjee,

In my opinion you have highlighted all the necessary points on this particular Act.It will be more beneficial to the participants if chapter V on Welfare & Health of Contract Labour especially section 16 to 20 may also be added in this presentation.

Dear R N Khola
Thanks for your inputs,
Actually the stated issue was briefly covered at the slide no 14.
I did not gave much emphasis as the industry the participants belongs from are operating not from any factory kind of establishment and thus have very negligible significance. Do you have any update regading monthly wage limit for application of the payment of wages act. Earlier it was Rs 1600/-, and so far I recall it was raised to Rs 6500/- per month.
Warm regards,
Hi Indranil,
Thanks for informative ppt. Two queries:
The requirement for registration is minimum 20 employees at :"one location or "inclusive of all/multiple locations".
These days the records are maintained through software (attendance/ pay slips etc). Are these valid/ exempted.

Dear Indranil Banerjee, This is to inform you that wage limit of Rs.6500/- pm has been raised to Rs. 10,000/- pm by the Govt.vide their Gazette notification dated 08.08.2007. Regards, R N Khola
I am very much thankful to you for a good presentation and the same is forwarded to our friends also.
Thank you all, I shall be back with all desired clarification, once we have further Q’s on the Board. And a special thanks to Mr Khola for updates on Payment of Wage. Regards.
Dear Indranil, Very nice PPT. Good afford may by you. Keep it up. Warm Regards UMESH KAPOOR
Dear Indrani,
It is a good piece of work. In addition to other observation/ suggestion given by group members, I would like to suggest that in slide 16, other aspect like failure to comply with PF or ESI provisions, liability and role of Principal Employer should also be mentioned. A brief ppt is attached herewith. You can Look at this and pick up the points you feel good for inserting in your ppt.
