Case studies related to the Functions of HRD Managers

Hi,

I am Reshma, pursuing PGDBA course from Welingkar Inst and specialising in HR. I have 200 marks project on Case studies related to the Functions of HRD Managers. I have to submit my project in the last week of December'06. Request you to please help me out in this project. I have decided to consider 5 functions of HRD manager i.e. Manpower Planning, Recruitment and Selection, Induction and Orientation, Training and Development and Wages and Salary Administration. I have to give some case studies related to this topics. My project is in process, request you to guide me further on this.

It is good plaftform to solve your cases by sharing. tel me u r asking for HR fuction in a particular sector or general HR function is practiced in almost organisation ?.

Hi Basant,

I am looking out for functions undertaken by HRD Manager in any industry. Earlier, I decided to take IT industry related case study but it is becoming very difficult to get. Request you to help me in this as I have to submit my project in the next week. We can take case studies on one/ two functions of HRD Manager in any industry.

Basically HRD Manager takes care 4 areas ie. Recruitment , training , performance management and promotion, tell me which area u r more comfortable ? Have u choosed any topic or cases related to HRD. so it will be easy to proceed to you

Hi,

I have not taken any case study as such. If possible can you help me in case studies on any one of the topics for e.g. Training and Development which you have mentioned.
