Hi All Friends,

I want some help from all of You. Presently I am working in A Pvt. Ltd. Company. I have joined on 05.01.2009 in this Company n getting my salary thorugh Bank. Just few days back Company has issued Form-16 to all of my collegues from whose salary they have deducted the tax. When I have asked for Form-16 they stated that We didn't have deducted any tax fm Ur Salary t4 we will not issue Form-16 to you. Now question is that my prevevious Employer issuing Form-16 on regular basis eventhough they werer not deduct any tax fm My salary. They just take the details n supporting of my inestments during the concern financial year n issued the Form-16 accordingly. N I file my IT Return on the base of that Form-16.

My question is that Is it compulsory for Employer to issue Form-16 for each Employee ?

As an Employee we can take any action against the Employer who is refusing to issue Form-16 for the salary paid by them.

I need my Form - 16 to file My IT Return.
