Amendment Of Maternity Leave

Hi All,

Its regarding enhancement of Maternity Leave. kerala government has enhanced maternity leave up to 180 days. i would like to know that whether enhancement of ML is applicable to all companie/IT firms in Kerala. if is it mandatory to change the Company leave policy.
in case we have not changed the leave policy what is the consequence.

Anybody who have details bout this please help.
