Default A Request to CHR

Hi CHR

Quote:
The total Unanswered posts have risen to 581 topics....

I would suggest that, all of us can come together and answer to the posts as early as possible..

Specially if it is from the students, or somebody is asking for help / suggestions...

I believe that if the answer to a query is received quickly, the new members would be motivated to come again and again and become active members of the group...

A Request To CHR..

If you could create one more counter on the dashboard, specially for the topics seeking some answers or having some queries...
Please create link for the unanswered queries... it is really difficult fishing out the same from all the unanswered articles as they are spread across different topics.. I tried to fish out some this morning...

A Link from your end for all the unanswered queries would be helpful...

I am looking only for unanswered queries... and not all the unanswered posts , as most of them are articles which need not be replied to as they are not queries and are for informational purpose of the members...

What I am requesting CHR is to saggregate the queries from the articles so that we can really help out those seeking help...

Hi Everyone,
Sorry for the delay in replying, was caught up with some urgent issues.
Well, this surely is a great cause and I wish I could do something about this right away but unfortunately I am not. The problem is that there is no way I can sit down and sort all the messages and find the ones which are queries. This has to be done manually and unfortunately will be extremely difficult to do.
However, I'll try to figure out a way to categorize the queries/articles. Will let you guys know if I can think up something.

Warm regards,
CHR

to segregate queries from the articles
everyone of us can help at this
we can type "query" and then the actual query in the subject line in bold letters, it will be visible and may work

and CHR...you can post this below the box wer we type as posting guidelines.
this can be done till you think of something else

hope it helps

Hi,

I had sent an invitation to to join this forum to two of my friends, Murali.R and Pranam Vishwanath. I also got the message, that your message has been sent to . They have registered and become members, but I cannot see their name in the supporter's page against my name. I confirmed with them that they have logged in from the link that I sent and the subsequest page from that link.

Plz let me know what's happening.

Regards,
Soumya Shankar

Hi Soms,
Turns out that the invitation form on the index page is not adding the unique reference key to the link. So if you sent the invites from the forum index page they probably received the link without your unique reference key attached. Please just send me the email ID's of your friends and I will fix it manually.

Warm regards,
CHR

Hi,
Instead of looking at pending numbers negatively, can we have some order here instead of burdening somebody to manually go through all the mails.

My suggestion is:
Like in KPM - "Key Performance Measure in ISO 9000-2001", the initiator should wait for 15 days for a possible suggestion / solution or alternatively he should close the same with his suggestion and contribution.

Hope this should bring down the number of pending topics and save the administrators burden.

Regards,
Bala

Hi Bala,

You have a very good suggestion. That is really good.

By doing this, we could know the status of the problem/the query and if at all it is solved, we would know how it was solved.

Hey CHR,

Also plz look into my earlier request............

Regards,
Soumya Shankar
