Thanks for the slides. I too have seen it before and it is indeed inspirational, and I believe there are many more such stories that testifies to the enormousity of the human spirit God has put in us.
I found the use of "asian" examples very suitable for use as we also need to move away from "Euro-US" centricism. I must add that there is good point to a mix as it just shows the point that winners are found in all societies, not just the "West".
I have found that there is a need for more "recent" stories as our new generation do not have a strong history and general knowledge of world history and events. Some personalities are only a blur to them, if they know that they ever existed at all.
Perhaps some researcher will delight us with more recent cases of people who have struggled against the odds and made it.
