Leave - if we didn't approve it, what will be the issue and how to handle this?
We have the below leave policies in our office for the better workflow 1. any cl/approved leaves can be permitted only if it requested before 3 weeks 2. leaves planned /unplanned are not allowed preceding or succeeding any holidaydeclared/weekends. if it s taken the combined holidays will also be considered to be a leave and itll be deducted from your leave balances. what can be done if they request the unavoidable leave before 3 weeks and asking for approval and the leave falls between holidays. if we didn t approve it what will be the issue and how to handle this?
Probation period issue
Dear senior hi i am in little confusion with probation period issue employees are in probation means company just want to check that employees is suitable for that job or not ? so why he will not be eligible for other benefit . like leave casual leave sick leave earned leave on prorated basis. for enrollment in provident fund and esic . if employee is in six month or eight month probation period i e he will be in enroll after completion of 6 or 8 month probation period. is it o.k ? then when we will show his/ her joining date as asked in both .? please clarify my issue regards shailendra kumar sharma

We have a doubt which we need you to help us with. to tackle the issue of paid/earned leave we have thought of deducting leave when taken but paying the leave salary at the end of every 3 months. considering the person is entitled for 30 days leave his leave and leave salary will be split 8886 every quarter. salary slip will be modified to show 8 leave per quarter with 0 leave availed. so in this case every leave taken during the year will be deducted in each salary but we are paying leave salary every quarter. if we proceed as such do you forsee a problem from any legal angel? do we fulfill 1 leave entitlement 2 leave encashment 3 monthly salary
Leave calculations for contractor employee
Please guide me on the issue for leave calculations for contractor empployee . we have out source contract employees and provision for leave encashment policy for them. i had query for this generaly leave calculated as 1 leave for every present 20daysi.e. 1.5 for month. like this is it calculated for 12 months period as 18 leave or any else calculations is their? please give guideline for the same.

Hello every one i am manasa working in an it company recently joined as a hr . i have an issue regarding an employee who comes late every day and leave early. our organisation has flexible timings as people often work late nights . people can manage their time even though they come late to office further they extend the time in the evening. if it is once or twice is acceptable . but it is happening frequently. can we address the issue if yes please suggest . thank you .
