new to hr

hello all i have just joined in a small firm.
This firm just introduced hr,and i am new to hr,
my query is as i am new i have doubts about the duties of hr.
Are vendor claims and all bills n claims of the company to be checked by a hr person or not?!

Please Help.

All bills are to be checked and cleared by finance ppl.

well if bills are related to employees like convayance bill,telephone bill of employee, they are checked by hr than forward to accounts.

any expenditure which is with employee relation than has to check by hr
stationary bill all that

Hi Bhaktin,

As yours is a small company, there is a possibility that staff has to multi-task. So it is quite possible that HR also needs to check and verify all claims and bills.
