| Engineering Consultant Salary Components Hi All,
Just joined the forum and tried to search the answers to my question and got confusion. So, started a new thread here and I would greatly appreciate for any of senior members comments:
I have 11 years exp in Technical Support and Engineering in overseas. Due to business expansion in India, my employer wants to transfer me to India (New Delhi) as Consultant. From there I will need to support for customers in India. Now, I would like to know what are the salary components needs to be included in the contract in order to save income tax? Right now I am paying ~10% here and I would like to save as much as possible. Let me get a sample calculation for a salary of 1,50,000 PM and 3,00,000 as Bonus PA. Your help is greatly appreciated.
