Action learning------> must read
Alearning elearning seemed like the best form of training. however it has its own limitations. a new approach in the elearning process electronic action learning or alearning on the other hand takes care of the loopholes in the elearning method. a learning which is cost effective easytouse and accessible any time offers justintime skills building facilities. how alearning differs from elearning while elearning revolves around abstract concepts alearning focuses on learning concrete skills. elearning relies on definitions for building knowledge while alearning relies on practical exercises. in elearning graphs and models depict ideas whereas in alearning interactive exercises are used to convey ideas. in the case of elearning the learning is quantified through quizzes and tests. alearning on the other hand does that by measuring the number of jobs completed successfully. elearning is designed to support individual learning unlike alearning that supports collaborative learning. an alearning programme includes: a exercises: as alearning courses are based on action they include exercises that learners complete while working on a job. b reusability: alearning programmes can be used many times without getting stagnant. c collaboration: alearning enables interaction of multiple users. for instance a manager can employ other managers or staff to arrive at an appropriate conclusion in a decision making programme. though alearning does not use tests and quizzes to assess the learning and relies on improvement in jobrelated assessment to measure the impact of training. therefore alearning should be employed when specific skills need to be built in employees while elearning should be used for imparting new knowledge.

If you are not learning...then you are not living
Learning is a continuous process...are you learning most of you will agree with me if i say "learning is a continuous process" but most of you will come forward to chop my head off if i say that "many of us don t learn". well that is the truth. as per the survey done by virgin management consultancy 83 of people stop learning after acquiring post graduation or any degree higher than that and 91.5 of people stop learning after getting a work experience of five years. sample size: 53672 people. this survey was done in seven major cities in india asian countries usa uk germany and australia. for the purpose of this article we need to redefine the term "learning". reading newspapers magazines listening news and acquiring degrees is not learning. so what does learning consist of: application of theory application of reading maturity in thinking and decision making learning from mistakes not repeating the mistakes learning from experience others and yours these things consist of learning. if you are doing any of these things then you are called as a "learned person". you can read the whole article at: no age no experience no designation is big enough to stop you from learning. one is expected to learn not only everyday but every moment of each day. the day you stop learning is the day you stop living. you can learn from your past experiences; from people around you; from nature; from all smallsmall things that happens around you. your learning shows in your behavior; your thinking; your reaction to a particular situation; the way you treat your fellow human being. just see if you are still learning or you have stopped learning? are you learning? share your views and experiences. explaination: we all know that there is a difference between hearing listening and implementing. in a same manner there is a difference between listening/watching/reading learning implementing that knowledge that you have listened to or have seen or read. learning is nothing but to implement your knowledge that you have acquired through n number of ways. i was feeling a bit bore so i read some magazine or newspaper that is not learning because whatever i read is of no use to me and will not help me in any manner in my professional or personal life. late in the night i just thought of watching tv that also has nothing to do with learning. i watched tv to entertain myself or just to kill my time. that is also not learning. "learning is always a conscious effort. it needs to be planned" regards sanjeev sharma or

Learning and positivity- inspirational post
Hi friends are you learning? after reading this i realize where i am and started enjoying every moment. thought of sharing with your all. i ve learned that no matter what happens or how bad it seems today life does go on and it may be better tomorrow. i ve learned that you can tell a lot about a person by the way he/she handles a rainy day and lost luggage. i ve learned that regardless of your relationship with your parents you ll miss them when they re gone from your life. i ve learned that making a "living" is not the same thing as making a "life." i ve learned that life sometimes gives you a second chance. i ve learned that you shouldn t go through life with a catcher s mitt on both hands. you need to be able to throw something back. i ve learned that whenever i decide something with an open heart i usually make the right decision. i ve learned that even when i have pains i don t have to be one. i ve learned that every day you should reach out and touch someone. people love that human touch holding hands a warm hug or just a friendly pat on the back. i ve learned that i still have a lot to learn happy learning subhash.r source pravsworld
