ITR V Bangalore CPC Status available online
Those assessees who have filed their Income Tax return online(e filing ) without digital signature have to furnish the ITR-V form within 30 days from date of uploading of the Income tax return (xml File) to the Central processing cell at Bangalore. Further Income Tax dept has issued Press release that ITR -V should only be send through ordinary post only and speed post, registered post and courier will not be received .Then the question were raised that How person will be know whether The ITR-V has reached at the Bangalore office or not? and suggest that some confirmation should be there in e filing portal or person should be informed through email about the ITR-V status .
Good news is that Income tax department has now added a link in e filing site by name "e filing processing status" under My Account Menu.To know your e filing Processing status.To know your ITR-V/E filing return processing status follow this steps as Given below
1. Login to the e filing site with your pan and password.
2. Go to the "My Account " tab
3. In drop down menu under My account Tab click " e- filing processing status"
4. In next screen fill you ITR-V acknowledgment Number and Select your assessment year.
5. You will get status of your return/ITR-V processing status in next screen.
Further Income tax department clarified that copy of ITR-V sent by them to CPC Bangalore will be scanned after stamping receipt number and date of receipt and the same shall be made available to taxpayers on request through email shortly. Please await further information on procedure for the same.

Madam: Please let me know when would IT department scan the ITR-V received by them. I have requested ask@ITD or so and nothing has come. All other details are there under 'my account' except that I have not got ack in my email.
This means filing of return is not completed. I have my son to mail our second set of acknowledgements by normal mail.
Do you know email of an grievance authority of IT or some such Ombudsman who can ensure that ITD-CPC ensure that the stamping and scanning is done and send the ack to the assessees.
I am worried, rightly, like other assessees, that refund might get stuck due to clerical error of not scanning our signed ITR-V.
I am new member and may not know again to come to this thread and if you can also give info to me at id, I would be grateful.
